25th April 2016 – Day Walk at Thames, Coromandel Ranges – Waiotahi-Karaka track loop

Part of my Easter Weekend Spontaneous Solo trip.  Decided to stop off at Wairere Falls, Waikato, en-route to Whakatane for a short (but steep-ish) walk up to the top of Wairere falls.  

Visit (including swim) at Blue Springs, the 2nd short walk of the trip (Loop track option from Leslie Road), before heading back to Auckland.

2015-11-30 – Pinnacles was a hike that I had planned on doing ten years ago, but never successfully got around to it.  Semi loop track, up towards the hut, then the pinnacles, then back down via billy goat track.
