14th April 2019 – Back to Coromandel to explore Wentworth Falls in Coromandel and the 4WD track area beyond. From the Road end Wentworth Valley Road end, walked Wentworth Falls track, a very well formed gravel track with a gentle gradient. At the Lookout, we descended to the base of Wentworth Falls and then came back up before continuing the trek along Whangamata Track, stopping at the the Shelter / Lunch clearing along Maratoto Track before returning back the same way and taking a detour down the mid tier of Wentworth falls.

Note: There is an unofficial path down the Mid-tier, but it is very steep and risky. (All care and no responsibility)
